LINDUS — Il lino incontra l’innovazione industriale

LINDUS – LINo inDUStrializzato è il progetto di ricerca industriale e sviluppo sperimentale di N.E.W.S. S.r.l. dedicato all’innovazione dei materiali e dei processi produttivi per l’arredamento di design.

Il progetto ha sviluppato un percorso integrato di selezione dei materiali, progettazione e sperimentazione per realizzare scocche e componenti di arredo in materiale composito rinforzato con fibre di lino a vista. La ricerca ha coniugato requisiti meccanici, qualità delle superfici e valorizzazione estetica della fibra naturale, attraverso lo studio di rinforzi multiassiali e resine anche parzialmente di origine biologica.

Attraverso prototipazione, prove meccaniche e analisi del ciclo di vita, LINDUS ha costruito una base tecnica per l’industrializzazione di componenti che uniscono ricerca sui materiali, identità naturale e design contemporaneo, contribuendo all’evoluzione della proposta nel segmento del Green Luxury.

Progetto realizzato nell’ambito del P.O. Puglia FESR 2014–2020 – Asse I, Obiettivo specifico 1a, Azione 1.1, Sub-Azione 1.1.b – Programmi Integrati di Agevolazione (PIA Medie Imprese), ai sensi del Titolo II, Capo 2, articolo 26 del Regolamento regionale n. 17/2014.
